Hiring Management Applicant Software

In partnership with the USDA, OPM and ‘Monster Government Solutions’, ARS  began accepting applications through this online application system formerly known as 'QuickHire'. This is the final phase of the Hiring Management implementation within the REE Mission Area agencies. ERS, NASS and CSREES began the mission area's initial implemntation in 2004. Each agency now uses the system to announce vacancies.

  • As part of the Office of Personnel Management’s electronic recruitment initiative, the OPM announced applicants who apply for government positions using an automated application system must register under the ‘My USAJobs’ applicant system. This gives candidates a ‘One-Stop’ recruitment tool – register once and your personnel information, as well as up to 5 resumes, will be available to apply for any automated government vacancy.

  • To register, visit OPM’s ‘My USAJobs’.

  • The ARS began a Pilot Implementation of the Hiring Management Online Application software in June 2006. This will allow our applicants to utilize information stored under the ‘My USAJobs’ application when applying for ARS positions.

  • Vacancies for occupational series 0201, 0203, 0318 and 0326 within the Human Resources Division will be announced using the online application system.

  • The first on-line application for ARS was released September 29th 2006.

  • Once the pilot periods has expired and is determined an effective recruitment tool, the system will be implemented in the remaining ARS offices over several phases.

  • When applying for an ARS position that is accepting on-line applications, you will see an Apply Online icon at the bottom of the USAJobs announcement.
