Volunteers are needed for all areas of the Museum's work . Visitor Services recruits volunteers to work directly with visitors at the museum on the National Mall and Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. If you would like to volunteer for Educational Services at the National Air and Space Museum, opportunities are available for Behind-the Scenes support of programs as well as working directly with visitors in the How Things Fly Gallery, Discovery Stations, and the Docent Program.
