CORVALLIS, Ore. – Country music group Emerson Drive will be coming to Oregon State University on Wednesday, March 14, to perform a concert at the LaSells Stewart Center, located at 26th Street and Western Boulevard.
The concert, sponsored by the Memorial Union Program Council, starts at 8 p.m. with the doors opening at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets, which cost $38 for the main floor or $30 for the balcony, are on sale online at http://www.osumu.org. Prices include the handling fee. Tyrone Wells and Andy Grammer will be the opening acts.
Emerson Drive broke onto the country music scene in 2002 with its self-titled debut album. The band had two Top 5 hits – “Fall Into Me” and “I Should Be Sleeping” – from that album, and took home several awards, including the 2002 Academy of Country Music Top New Vocal Duet or Group of the Year and Billboard’s No. 1 Top Country Artist of the Year in 2002.
The band’s latest album, “Countrified,” is available on Midas Records.
