CORVALLIS, Ore. – Four Navy ROTC students at Oregon State University have been commissioned as second lieutenants in the United States Marine Corps.
The four students from the Marine Enlisted Commissioning Program were commissioned in a ceremony recently at the Navy ROTC Unit on the OSU campus.
The graduating OSU seniors and new officers include:
• Bryan Jadro, B.S. in Business Administration with a finance focus, reporting The Basic School in Quantico, Va.;
• Kevin Julian, B.S. in Animal Science, reporting to The Basic School in Quantico, Va.;
• Rodney Malone, B.A. in History, reporting to The Basic School in Quantico, Va.;
• Zachery Worth III, B.S. in Business Administration with a finance focus, reporting to The Basic School, Quantico, Va., then on to Naval Aviation School, Pensacola, Fla.
These newly commissioned second lieutenants join more than 300,000 men and women who are serving on active duty throughout the globe.
