BUSH: When I took office an HIV diagnosis was usually a death sentence. WE WILL HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY WE’VE BEEN MISSING PRESIDENT BUSH: Parents watched their babies die needlessly because local clinics lacked effective treatments. ONE DAY WE WILL HAVE THE RESOURCES TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE PRESIDENT BUSH: This modern day plague robbed countries of the hope of progress. ONE DAY YOU WILL HAVE THE POWER TO SAVE LIVES DR. AGNES BINAGWAHO, EXECUTIVE SECRETARY, RWANDA HIV/AIDS COMMISSION: What we do here creates hope. TREATMENT FOR 2 MILLION PEOPLE DR AGNES: Education, health… PREVENT 7 MILLION NEW INFECTIONS AND CARE FOR 10 MILLION PEOPLE WORLDWIDE DR AGNES: It’s the best investment for the future because it brings the spirits of development, peace and security and when you do that somewhere, you build the development and peace of the world. PRESIDENT BUSH: Governments, the private sector and faith- and community-based organizations responded vigorously to this crisis. ONE REMARKABLE FILM.
