Community Facilities (CF) Guaranteed Loans
FOR LENDERS INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING
Under this program, Rural Development
Housing and Community Facilities Programs guarantees commercial loans made
by banks, savings and loans, mortgage companies and Farm Credit System banks, or insurance
companies regulated by a State or National insurance regulatory agency. All lenders that
have oversight from a Federal or State agency and are willing to maintain responsibility
for servicing of the loan are eligible for this guarantee loan program. This
guarantee is an incentive for lenders to finance and develop essential community
facilities in local communities. The program is lender driven, in which the bank requests
the guarantee and, if approved, finances and services the loan. Participation in the
