Did you know the Institute of Food Technologists Foundation provides scholarship funding for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in food science?

An educated workforce is fundamental in order to address the critical food science issues of the future. Food professionals are essential in developing innovative products, providing food safety and ensuring a healthy food supply!

• The IFT Foundation offers a variety of scholarships that are sponsored by food industry companies, organizations, individual donors, IFT Sections, and IFT Divisions.
• The IFT Student Association/IFT Foundation Fun Run is an annual 5K run/1 mile walk event that raises money for the IFT Foundation Scholarship Fund. Donors raised over $50,000 at the 2008 Fun Run in New Orleans, LA!

IFT Foundation Scholarship Application Deadlines
Students must submit complete applications to college department heads. College department heads will mail applications to the IFT Foundation Department.

• Freshman Scholarships: February 15
• Sophomore Scholarships: March 1
• Junior / Senior Scholarships: February 1
• Graduate Scholarships: February 1
