BASIC AND APPLIED STEM CELL RESEARCH FOR ARTHRITIS AND MUSCULOSKELETAL DISEASES ADDENDUM TO RFA-AR-02-003 Release Date: January 30, 2002 NOTICE: NOT-AR-02-002 National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) (http://www.nih.gov/niams/) APPLICATION RECEIPT DATE: March 20, 2002 This Notice is an addendum to RFA-AR-02-003, Basic and Applied Stem Cell Research for Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Diseases, to clarify the page limitations for R21 applications. A Preliminary Data section is not required for an R21 application, however, if included, it should not exceed one page. The research plan (a-d) is limited to 10 pages. Applications that exceed the page limit will be returned without review. An appendix may be included in the application; however, the appendix is not to be used to circumvent the page limit of the research plan. INQUIRIES Written and telephone inquiries are encouraged.
