Live Interactive Learning @ Your Desktop
Presented by science experts and NSTA staff, the NSTA Online Short Courses
are professional development opportunities designed for teachers looking to learn
a new topic or for those interested in a refresher course.
Participants meet online with a content expert and NSTA staff for questions and
discussions during live web sessions. Educators work also offline with self-paced
materials to boost their knowledge of the topic:
- NSTA SciPack
- NSTA SciGuide
- NSTA Press book
- NSTA Journal Articles
Participants also engage in asynchronous discussions with the course instructor
and colleagues sharing ideas on how to present the topic in the classroom. They
have exclusive access to the presenters' PowerPoint presentations, list of web links,
and can watch the archives of the live web sessions as needed.
