Want to come to Rice? You're not alone. For the first time in its history, Rice University has received more than 10,000 applications for admission — and the number is still rising. With the university preparing to admit its largest freshman class ever, it's clear that many high school seniors recognize the value of a Rice education.
A campaign that goes beyond the hedges
The Centennial Campaign creates an opportunity for all of us — even for individuals outside of Rice. Just ask Siva Kumari. The associate provost for K–12 initiatives coordinates and oversees more than 85 educational initiatives that serve more than 1 million students. Her efforts focus on maximizing college readiness among underserved students.
