Description: The American Museum of Science and Energy was founded in 1949 in Oak Ridge, TN - the site of the "secret city" where the Manhattan Project was carried out. The museum exhibits artifacts and documents from the Manhattan Project and serves as a center for science and technology exploration. It also explores the past and present programs and policies of the U. S. Department of Energy.

Profile: The American Museum of Science and Energy (AMSE) is currently working on an exhibit which will feature the contributions of scientists working at the Oak Ridge Laboratory on the Manhattan Project.
