General Culture:

Easily grown in average, medium, well-drained soil in full sun. Good drainage is essential. Generally does not need staking due to compact size.

Noteworthy Characteristics:

This Italian aster cultivar is a compact, bushy aster typically growing 1-2' tall and as wide. Flowers appear in loose, flattened clusters (corymbs) from late summer to frost and feature deep violet rays and yellow center disks. Rough, hairy, lanceolate to obovate leaves (to 5" long).
