Washington, DC - Congressman John D. Dingell (D-MI15) made the following comments on the death of former United Auto Workers president Douglas A. Fraser: "I join many thousands of Americans in mourning Doug Fraser. He was a wonderful man - a dedicated labor leader who cared deeply about the well-being of his fellow Americans. He worked to better the lives of all Americans on matters of great importance - health, working conditions, jobs, education and quality of life.
