Contemporary Acquisitions Council

The Contemporary Acquisitions Council (CAC) is an affiliate group of the Annual Circle for members at the $1,000 Friends Circle level or above. CAC members provide important counsel to the Museum and the financial means to help build the most timely and contemporary dimension of the collection. CAC dues are $4,000 annually.
•    100% of Council member dues go to support this acquisition program
•    CAC credit line appears on all artworks purchased with CAC support
•    Members are invited to two acquisition sessions in Washington, plus related educational programs, collection/gallery/studio visits, and CAC dinners
•    CAC members receive VIP passes to selected international art fairs (subject to availability.)
•    CAC members participate in regular communication with Hirshhorn Curator Anne Ellegood, and receive invitations to join her and other curators as they travel to galleries and artists’ studios to consider new work for purchase.
