It's about time for another case. I'll start with the 01z day 1 outlook and tornado probs (ie. issued 8pm central time the previous day)to give you an opportunity to pick a starting point realistically based on what you thought might happen based on earlier outlooks. Alright, I had a request for a specific date and I agreed it would make a good case, so here it is. This will probably appeal to you chasers who strictly remain in the plains for your chasing as it's more of a classic setup. Could be another cold/wet winter across the central section.
Will be interesting to see what the transition to spring looks like in 09 considering what we saw with a moderately strong La Nina in 08. (which was almost a delayed spring across many locations in the US)
