The Scholarly Electronic Publishing Bibliography (SEPB) was published by the University of Houston Libraries from 1996 to 2006. It presented selected English-language articles, books, and other printed and electronic sources that were useful in understanding scholarly electronic publishing efforts on the Internet. Most sources were published between 1990 and 2006; however, a limited number of key sources published prior to 1990 were also included. Where possible, links were provided to sources that were freely available on the Internet. An archive of versions 1 to 64 of SEPB is available at this Web site.

In memory of Paul Evan Peters (1947-1996), founding Executive Director of the Coalition for Networked Information, whose visionary leadership at the dawn of the Internet era fostered the development of scholarly electronic publishing.
