CRC Program Guidelines - a new re-invigorated CRC Program

The CRC Program provides funding to build critical mass in research ventures between end-users and researchers which tackle clearly-articulated, major challenges for the end-users. CRCs pursue solutions to these challenges that are innovative, of high impact and capable of being effectively deployed by the end-users.

The new Cooperative Research Centres Program Guidelines are now available. These new Guidelines cover all aspects of the Program, not just the selection round requirements. The Guidelines will provide current CRCs and prospective applicants with a comprehensive overview of the Program.

They reflect the new policy and program design principles developed in response to the review of the CRC Program conducted as part of the broader Review of the National Innovation System. The key changes to the Program may be found in the Executive Summary of the Guidelines.

The Guidelines are available here.

CRC Program Information Sessions

The Department conducted information sessions for interested stakeholders during December 2008. These sessions were of particular interest to those considering applying in the 11th (2009) selection round.

Further information about these sessions, and their presentation materials, may be found here.
