Printer

In order to take full advantage of the Viewer’s capability to print reports, the PC should be connected to a printer capable of printing in color, if available. Although the charts displayed on the reports will print in black and white, they look best when printed in color.

The DataViewer “reads” the monthly ACF-801 file that you load and examines it for three types of errors: missing information, inconsistent information, and out of range information. A Summary Assessment Report is generated that allows you to identify problem areas and make necessary corrections to your file prior to submitting it to the Child Care Bureau. Additional information about the Summary Assessment Report is available in Technical Bulletin #9r: Using the ACF-801 Data Assessment Reports

The DataViewer also generates a number of data reports based on the information in the ACF-801 file. Examples of reports include family profiles, caseload information, and financial profiles. Some reports may be customized to better meet each program’s specific needs.
