Featuring Keynote Speaker, Mark Keating...

Mark Keating has been active in organic agriculture since 1988 in a variety of commercial, educational, regulatory and advocacy capacities.  He worked for the USDA National Organic Program between 1999 and 2002 during which time he helped draft the organic crop and livestock production standards.  Following that, he worked with the USDA Marketing Services Branch for two years to develop and promote farmers markets.  Currently, he is a lecturer in the Horticulture Department at the University of Kentucky where he teaches a range of courses on sustainable and organic agriculture.
