The Purdue University Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers benefit-eligible faculty and staff, official retirees, dependent family members, domestic partners and family of deceased employees access to confidential and professional counseling and referral services. Our primary objective is to provide a safe harbor where employees can address personal, family, or work related issues and regain perspective and productivity.

Purdue EAP can help with the following issues:

  • Marriage or adult relationships

  • Parent-child relationships

  • Stress (work-related, anxiety, self-esteem issues)

  • Depression

  • Problem drinking and drug abuse

  • Elder caregiving

  • Adjustment following divorce

  • Anxiety and panic disorders

  • Child behavior problems

  • Single parenting concerns

  • Other personal problems that affect work-life 

  • Grief and loss issues

The Purdue EAP office is located at 501 Hayes Street, West Lafayette, directly behind the Visitor Information Center. Office hours are 8 a.m.-noon and 1-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. For more information or to make an appointment, please call 49-47707.
