Technical Assistance Meeting for RFA-ES-09-001 (Research to Action: Assessing and Addressing Community Exposures to Environmental Contaminants)

Meeting Description

NIEHS and NIOSH will host a pre-application technical assistance “virtual” meeting for RFA–ES-09-001 on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 from 1:00-3:00 Eastern Standard Time.

The purpose of the informational meeting is to provide technical assistance on and answer questions related to the preparation of applications in response to RFA-ES-09-001. Potential applicants will be able to access the meeting by web and/or telephone. The meeting will begin with brief presentations from program, review and grants management staff, and then open into a question and answer session.

Participants should submit questions to PEPH@niehs.nih.gov at their earliest opportunity. All questions submitted by email must be received by 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on February 1. There will also be an opportunity for participants to submit questions that arise during the technical assistance meeting in real-time using the “Chat” function in Adobe Connect.

All researchers, community members and other persons interested in submitting an application in response to this RFA are strongly encouraged to attend the technical assistance meeting. Those who cannot attend are encouraged to visit the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) website to be posted online following the meeting (see below).
