INTRODUCTION
Aging
Aging is a universal process that initiates with the origination of life. Accumulation of the diverse deleterious changes produced by aging throughout the cells and tissues progressively impairs function and eventually cause death. Aging process can be modulated by numerous factors such as development, genetic, environment, and disease factors. Chances for death may be decreased by improvements in general living and health conditions.

Information & Current Research

Currently, the precise mechanisms underlying the aging process are poorly understood, but most cellular and molecular elucidations of aging process suggest that oxidative stress may be a critical aging factor. Also, there are substantial findings supporting a strong association between oxidant stress, numerous inflammation processes and aging. In fact, oxidative stress is a highly speculated culprit making human cells vulnerable to inflammation and aging-related processes.

In practical and nutritional perspectives, there are a couple of things you can do for slowing aging processes.

* Practice a balanced healthy diet (e.g., herbs, fruits, vegetables, nuts).

* Live your life best without unnecessary stresses (e.g., physical, emotional, physiological).

* Perform a regular exercise (e.g., at least 15-30 min daily) and Maintain your body weight at healthy levels (e.g., check your BMI index).

* Provide body and mind a good and healthy rest.
