HHS Secretary Tommy G. Thompson today announced that HHS has re-organized the agency's Web page to make it easier to find information on resources available to those affected by the September 11 terrorist attacks in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania.

"The new Web page is a one-stop site for people to turn to for information on how to help if they want to and where to get help for themselves, family or friends," Secretary Thompson said. "The site also provides factual information on the public health issues relating to the aftermath of the attack."

The site contains categories that include:

• How to Help: Information on blood donations; how to volunteer and how to provide tips to investigators.
• How to Get Help: Information on where to call for mental health resources, and where to call for seniors who need help with Medicare; a family assistance victims hotline and a FEMA contact number for victim assistance.
• Fact Sheets on Public Health: Including the following topics: asbestos, dust and debris; and tips for talking about disasters for parents, teachers, seniors, children and teens.
• News and Speeches: Daily updates on all HHS activities and specific actions taken to assist New York, Washington and Pennsylvania recover from the terrorist attack.
• Photos: Including photos from Secretary Thompson�s New York visit.
• Audio: Regularly updated audio clips of Secretary Thompson talking about important issues facing the country.
