State & Private Forestry

State & Private Forestry provides technical and financial assistance using collaborative approaches. These are used to link forestry and conservation with people from the inner city to remote rural areas, to sustain our communities and care for the Nation's forests across all ownerships.

State and Private Forestry Programs directly contribute to the national goals for forest sustainability including timber and fiber supply, air and water quality, wildlife habitat quality, production of goods and services, and the socio-economic well-being of communities.
