RB51 Brucellosis Vaccine (pdf 10kb) - RB51 is a new vaccine against brucellosis, a bacterial disease of cattle and bison that causes abortions and lowered milk production. The vaccine was licensed by USDA's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) in February 1996 for use in cattle and was approved for use in the Cooperative State-Federal Brucellosis Eradication Program in an interim rule published in the Federal Register on March 26, 1996.
