The African American Council on Liver Awareness (AACLA) is a national organization promoting viral hepatitis prevention, treatment and research in order to optimize the health of the African American community. The AACLA receives and identifies emerging and established information concerning products and services used to diagnose, prevent and treat viral hepatitis in the African American population. It serves as a credible resource in both the African American community and the viral liver diseases arena by providing policy and information analysis, education and technical assistance. |

Latino Organization for Liver Awareness LOLA
L.O.L.A. is the first national, bilingual/bicultural voluntary organization dedicated to raising awareness, prevention, education and treatment referral services to the Latino\American community and other underserved populations who suffer from liver disease in the United States. L.O.L.A. provides culturally appropriate counseling information on liver transplantation and encourages the promotion of organ donation within the Latino\American community. |
