• To order maps, publications, and other miscellaneous products on paper and compact disc media from the USGS:

Handling Fee

• A $5 handling fee is charged for all orders, including those delivered through electronic file transfer (FTP).

Payment

• For domestic orders, payment by check, money order, purchase order, major credit card, or Government account must accompany order. All international orders must be prepaid. Payment for orders shipped outside the United States may be made with a major credit card or international money order drawn on U.S. funds. Make all drafts payable to the Department of the Interior-USGS. Do not send cash.

Shipping

• Domestic Orders: Delivery will be provided by a Government-selected carrier. If you request a specific carrier service, please provide a carrier account number.

• International Orders: Customers are responsible for shipping costs, customs fees, and any other charges associated with international shipments. Please designate a preferred carrier (FedEx, DHL, or UPS) and provide your carrier account number and telephone number for shipping.
