In our Jan. 19, 2005 memorandum concerning the
FY 2005 15 percent ABAWD exemptions, five states had not yet submitted their
final FY 2004 FNS-583 reports. Therefore, Attachment B of that memorandum
was incomplete. Subsequently, we received FY 2004 FNS-583 reports from
California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, and Oklahoma. This new information
appears in BOLD in Attachment B.
Please remind your states that the FY 2005 adjusted case-month exemptions
in Attachment B represents the carryover (i.e., cumulative) number of
case-months available to a state. Attachment A of the January 19th
memorandum contains the amount of 15 percent case month exemptions states
are granted solely for FY 2005; the FY 2005 numbers are not cumulative.
Please contact Patricia Maggi at (703) 305-2468 if you have any
questions.
