Biosketch:
Ms. Florence Danshes is a Senior Grants Management Specialist in the Grants Management Branch within the Division of Extramural Activities. She is currently administering the budget, issuance of awards, and their proper handling of funds for the Division of Digestive Diseases and Nutrition (DDN). Her portfolio consists of various funding mechanisms, such as Clinical Trials, Small Business Grants (SBIR & STTR), Research Grants, Conference Grants, Career, Training and NRSA. Prior to working with DDN, she worked with the Division of Diabetes, Endocrine and Metabolic Diseases (DEM) with the same responsibilities. Ms. Danshes’ experience with Pre and Post Grant administration of the entire Fellowship Program for NIDDK makes her an expert within the Institute for this funding mechanism.
