The Problem with Conventional Ice Scrapers
The common ice scraper has a flimsy blade that isn't tough enough for hard ice and a cheap handle that is awkward and tiring to use, plus it breaks easily. However, the most glaring defect is that these scrapers use a flat and inflexible blade to clear ice from curved windshields. As a result, each tedious pass clears just a sliver of glass. You want to do the right thing, but clearing all of the ice is just so difficult and time consuming with these conventional products.

Often in winter, reasonable, courteous people who'd never think of leaving the driveway with worn tires or bad brakes will drive off after scraping just a small portal through the ice. With more than 80% of their visibility obscured, these "peephole" drivers risk not only themselves and their passengers but fellow motorists and unwary pedestrians.

Introducing a Better Way: IceDozer Plus
The patented IceDozer has been scientifically designed and tested to clear frost and ice from auto windshields quickly and with a minimum of effort. The heart of this high-tech product is the heavy duty FlexiBlade, which bends to the curvature of the windshield. Each pass clears a much wider swath of visibility.

The IceDozer comes equipped with three powerful attack surfaces. The finely honed FrostPeeler Blade takes aim at stubborn frost, while the forward-facing IceBreaker Teeth concentrate the cracking force when tackling thicker ice. The carbide-style Tenderizers on the bottom of the IceDozer are designed to exploit the Achilles Heel of ice; its brittleness. Tapping sharply downward creates hairline fractures that make it much easier to rip ice from the windshield. Additionally, the forward-facing SnowPlow surface helps keep you dry and warm by bulldozing snow and ice away from your hands and sleeves.

The effectiveness of these unique attack surfaces is dramatically amplified through a two-fisted PowerGrip that harnesses the natural strength and motion of the upper body. As a result, the IceDozer is effective and very easy-to-use regardless of size, age or physical capabilities.

The IceDozer Plus improves on the design of the IceDozer Classic by featuring a detachable PocketDozer and brush. Once removed, the PocketDozer has its own scraping blade to clear hard-to-reach areas such as side mirrors. This removable tool also incorporates the IceNotch, which isn't found on other scrapers. It is specially designed to clear ice chunks off of windshield wipers--just slide your wiper blades through it to restore their effectiveness.

THe only problem is that the handle is weak. The second time i used it the upper handle snapped, which leaves the scraper useless. Well, don't believe it. At the low temperatures at which you'll be using this product, it doesn't bend much. I found that it doesn't really do any better than any other ice scraper. The relatively soft plastic is also a detriment. If you want a good ice scraper, go for the harder acrylic type.
