Former Representatives of American Samoa to the United States House of Representatives

American Samoa was first granted representation in the U.S. House of Representatives on October 31, 1978.  The first delegate from American Samoa to the U.S. House of Representatives began serving in January 1981.

1981 – 1989: T.H. Fofo Iosefa Fiti Sunia (D)

Congressman Sunia served in the 97th, 98th, 99th, and 100th Sessions of Congress.

1989 – present: T.H. Eni F.H. Faleomavaega (D)

Congressman Faleomavaega has been serving since the 101st Session of Congress beginning in 1989 to the current Session (110th Session) of Congress which began in 2007 and ends in 2009.
