Map of Volcanoes Discussed this Week

Volcanoes discussed in the Weekly Volcanic Activity Report are plotted on a world map as triangles centered on their respective summit coordinates. In order to begin loading the map, place the cursor over the gray start-up box. Once the map has loaded, the names of each volcano pop-up when the cursor is placed near the volcano of interest. Note that at this scale, multiple volcanoes may be sufficiently close together to appear to be one triangle. For cases where both an ongoing eruption and new activity/unrest appear close together, the latter symbol appears on top.
