 2008 PDA/FDA Pharmaceutical Ingredient Supply Chain Conference

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is announcing the following meeting: 2008 PDA/FDA Pharmaceutical Ingredient Supply Chain Conference.  The topics to be discussed are: guidance, regulations and Good Distribution Practices (GDPs) from various regions, including North America, Europe and Asia. Regulatory and industry representatives from today’s leading organizations will share their perspectives and solutions regarding: challenges in ensuring the quality and integrity of pharmaceutical ingredients, regulations and guidance on GMPs and GDPs, the role of quality systems in supply chain operations, industry practices from the perspectives of API manufacturers, excipient manufacturers, drug product manufacturers, and distributors of these materials and opportunities for global cooperation, collaboration and harmonization.

Date and Time: The meeting will be held on December 3 - 5, 2008.

  • December 4, 2008, 7:30 a.m. – 5:15 p.m.
  • December 5, 2008, 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

From Now – November 17, registration fees are as follows:  $1250.00 for Members, $1700.00 for Non-members, $515.00 for Government/Health Authority/Academic and $195.00 for Students.  After November 17, 2008, registration fees are as follows: $1450.00 for Members, $1900.00 for Non-members, $595.00 for Government/Health Authority/Academic and $225.00 for Students.
