Dr. Tom Puglisi
Dr. Tom Puglisi has been named director of the Division of Human
Subject Protections in the Office for Protection from Research
Risks. The division implements regulations and policies related to the
protection of human subjects in research conducted or supported by
the Department of Health and Human Services. Puglisi joined
OPRR in 1989, serving first as an assurance coordinator, and most
recently as chief of DHSP's Compliance Oversight Branch.
