Of course, your college experience will include more than libraries and classrooms. At UAF, you'll find a vibrant community involved in a variety of physical and recreational activities regardless of the season. From our nine-time NCAA championship coed rifle team, to intramural badminton, to world-class cross country skiing, students at UAF keep a healthy perspective on both physical and intellectual development.

Check out the student handbook (PDF 3.8MB) for information on student polices, community standards, residence life and everything else a student needs to know.

Students at UAF can also participate in a number of exchange programs and study abroad options.

Current UAF students receive a PolarExpress ID card which functions as your student ID, library card, residence hall key card and meal plan card. Polar Express can also be used for computer lab, copier and printer access.
