More than 50 Years of innovated designs that provide our customers with
engineered solutions for all their bulk material handling requirements.

With nearly 50 years of container Manufacturing Experience, Snyder Industries, Inc. has grown to become the recognized leader in the design and manufacturing of plastic and steel bulk storage, processing and transportation tank systems. Our Engineered Bulk Container solutions incorporate polyethylene and steel tank constructions produced using state-of-the-art technologies

Snyder Tanks (Poly and Steel Tanks) are available in a full range of corrosion resistant, poly and steel tank designs to serve a variety of industries.

Industrial Tank and Agricultural Tank market segments

  • Vertical tanks come equipped in both flat and cone bottom configurations
  • Horizontal plastic tanks can be designed specifically for above and below ground storage applications

Septic and Water tanks

For many years, rotational molding has proven to be the ideal method of producing a seamless one-piece tank that minimizes the risk of leaking. In addition, polyethylene, because of its excellent corrosion resistance and chemical compatibility is the ideal material for on-site applications. And when properly molded, polyethylene can readily endure the stresses imposed by installation and burial loads.
At Snyder, we were not content to just develop a new line of polyethylene tanks for the on-site market. We incorporated a "new concept" of design to further enhance the leak proof properties of the tank and improve the structure to minimize deformation of the tank and maximize tank life.

Portable poly tote designs (IBCs) are offered through:

  • Snyder IBC's division, which specializes in UN and DOT- approved intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) for the transportation of bulk liquid materials, including hazardous chemicals, lubricants, paints and coatings, food and beverages, inks and dyes, adhesives and sealants.  Poly totes are offered in plastic, stainless and carbon steel designs to meet any application requirements.  Sometimes applications require the combined use of both steel and plastic in an IBC design to meet specific requirements.  Snyder offers the industry's broadest range of Composite IBCs, where a polyethylene bottle is encased in a heavy duty steel cage.

Double wall plastic tanks

  • are available in applications requiring secondary containment protection in lieu of concrete dykes for single wall aboveground storage tanks.
  • The smaller design configurations ranging from 35 to 360 gallons provide a primary and secondary containment solution in one integral space saving unit. These tanks are ideal for commercial “Day” tank system requirements.

Open Top Tanks Systems

  • Long-Lasting, corrosion resistant tank systems provide maximum options for batch mixing, storage, dispensing and material handling.

Dry Handling Hopper Bins and Silos

  • Steel and plastic hopper bin designs are available with a variety of options and sizes to meet the unique handling requirements of dry powder and granular materials. Dry handling bins can be configured with different slopes, discharge/fill openings, and valves and Snyder offers a full line of accessories, including discharge stands, tumblers, and filling stations designed to optimize material flow.

Snyder PolyethyleneTanks are molded with a variety of polyethylene materials, including FDA and NSF/ANSI 61 approved high-density (HDLPE) and cross-linked high-density (XLPE) resins.

Snyder steel tanks are fabricated with some of the most sophisticated IBC manufacturing automation.  Steel IBC tank designs can be configured to meet the most stringent design requirements.

Snyder Industries' tank engineering team is responsible for a multitude of poly tank processing and design patents, which are utilized to produce plastic and steel tank solutions that exceed the safety and performance requirements of our customers at the lowest possible cost. In addition to our broad proprietary product line of poly and steel tanks and containers, Snyder Industries is also a unique resource for select Custom Rotational Molding applications that require a high degree of engineering and manufacturing expertise within the rotational molding process to develop large durable plastic products.
