Michigan Environmental Quality Publications Center

The Department of Environmental Quality has numerous publications available free to the public. Many are accessible electronically. Most electronic documents are in Portable Document Format (pdf) for which you need reader software such as Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print. Adobe Acrobat Reader is free software downloadable at www.adobe.com.

To view a specific category, select the category from the drop-down menu and click on the "Search". All available publications in that category will be listed. If the publication is available electronically, a web site address is included. To view a specific topic, type in a "Keyword" and click on the "Search" button.

The Environmental Assistance Center also has some publications available for mailing. If you would like a copy of a publication mailed to you, print and complete the order form (pdf file) and fax to 517-335-4729 or e-mail your request to deq-ead-env-assist@michigan.gov. Please include your name, address, daytime telephone number, document(s) and quantity requested to the Environmental Science and Services Division.
