Challenge-Match Campaign
The Land & Water Fund
The funds raised will be directed to land & water-based projects that strengthen the resilience of organizations, communities, associations, landowners, or other enterprises in the region. The goal is to improve ecological, economic, social and land health, including the health of The Quivira Coalition.
Land & Water Funds will be applied to projects that improve land health through riparian & upland habitat restoration practices & maintenance, grazing management, ranch infrastructure repair, road rehabilitation, watershed planning, implementation of best management practices, or an educational activity that has a direct impact on soil, grass or water.

Attention: The Next Annual Conference is in November 2009
More About Quivira
Quivira's 5-Year Plan pdf size:1.21mb
The mission of The Quivira Coalition is to build resilience by fostering ecological, economic and social health on western landscapes through education, innovation, collaboration, and progressive public and private land stewardship.
We call our approach The New Ranch. Elements include progressive ranch management, scientifically-guided riparian and upland restoration, land health assessment and monitoring, and bridge-building among ranchers, environmentalists, federal and state agency personnel, academics, and members of the public. Principles are promoted through Workshops, Lectures, Publications, Tours, Collaborative Demonstration Projects, Awards, an Annual Conference and The New Ranch Network.More About Quivira
