At the recent Colorado Farm Show, the West Greeley, Colorado, Conservation District and the NRCS Greeley Field Office presented their new exhibit depicting conservation district activities and farm bill programs. One of the oldest and largest farm shows in the nation, this year’s 3-day event featuring agricultural businesses, research organizations, and special interest groups, attracted more than 31,500 visitors. Fittingly, this annual event is held in Weld County, the richest agricultural county in the nation east of the Rocky Mountains.

In addition to displays of agriculture products, services, and equipment, the show offers a series of educational programs and guest speakers. “If past history is any indication,” says Farm Show Board Chair Carol Cox, “it’s a safe bet that the Colorado Farm Show will continue its tradition of agriculture excellence that has marked the past decades.”
