National Cooperative Soil Survey Soil Scientist Achievement Award

In addition to its National Cooperative Soil Survey (NCSS) Soil Scientist of the Year and NCSS Soil Scientist Achievement awards, this year NCSS is initiating an NCSS Cooperator Achievement Award. The new award has been created to recognize exceptional achievement by individuals working in production soil survey under the auspices of the NCSS program. The award recognizes individuals working in non-research positions who routinely would not be eligible for recognition by the Soil Science Society of America.
