The Guarneri "Twin" Violins
Home | About
The “Baron Vitta” has been generously given to the Library of Congress by Szymon Goldberg’s wife, Miyoko Yamane Goldberg, in May 2007 so that it may reside with its “twin.”
On May 18, 2007, the “Baron Vitta” was played for the first time at the Library of Congress by Nicholas Kitchen, first violinist of the Borromeo String Quartet. Its twin, the “Kreisler” was played by Borromeo's second violinist, Kristopher Tong.
