Superfund Basic Research Program Individual Research Projects (R01)

The Individual Research Project Program is designed to address specific issues that complement the multi-project research programs, meet high priority research needs of the national Superfund Program or tackle issues of emerging concern. Grants awarded under this mechanism will be for discrete, single projects. Grant applications are solicited and awards made in response to Request for Applications (RFAs).

Title: Innovative Approaches to Remediation of Recalcitrant Hazardous Substances in Sediments (R01)

The objective of this 2006 RFA is to encourage research to develop innovative approaches to address the remediation of contaminated sediments, with particular emphasis on in situ remedies.  These important dates apply to the RFA above:
