The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) sponsors conferences and workshops to educate customers on environmental requirements, pollution prevention practices, and other topics related to the protection of Michigan's natural resources. The Department provides wastewater and drinking water system operators with critical training on treatment process control and laboratory analyses. Speakers on environmental programs and services are also available upon request.
