Cuesta College Small Business Development Center
The Cuesta College Small Business Development Center (Cuesta College SBDC) is part of a nationwide program
that provides business technical assistance to small businesses.
The SBDC is locally hosted by Cuesta College and regionally hosted by the University of California,
Merced in partnership with the U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and the California Community College's Economic and Workforce Development Programs.
The services provided by the Cuesta College SBDC include workshops covering the basics of start-up, marketing a product or service and financing a small business. Other topic specific workshops are offered as community needs are assessed.

It is the vision of the Cuesta College SBDC to be the premier provider of business development services in San Luis Obispo County.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Cuesta College SBDC is to promote the development and growth of small businesses by providing high quality business assistance throughout San Luis Obispo County thereby enhancing prosperity.
