New Export Information Available on FSIS's Web Site

Did you know the Export Information page on FSIS’ Web site has been updated to provide new information to aide
inspectors and exporters as they prepare products for export? A new featured item was created that will house the
Export Tip of the Week.
The featured tip will change on a weekly basis as new export tips are published. In addition, a link will take users to
a page which contains links to every export tip published since March. The “Establishing Eligibility” and
“Certifying Meat and Poultry Products for Export” links have been replaced with a new link entitled,
“Export Certification Checklist,” which offers a combined, more streamlined version of the information found at
the two previous links.
Also, a new “Frequently Asked Questions” link has been added. The “USDA Trade Assistance” link now connects the
user directly to the contacts at the Foreign Agricultural Services’ overseas offices. FSIS’ Office of
International Affairs believes these changes will save the user valuable time when certifying or preparing
products for export.
