RSS Feeds
RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication," which is a format for distributing and sharing web content. Our site offers a variety of RSS feeds that include headlines, updates and links back to the Shasta-Trinity National Forest web site for full news stories.
How do I know if a site has RSS?
On the page with the feeds, we display a small icon and the acronym RSS to alert you a feed is available. Below is a list of our feeds.
What happens after you subscribe?
After you subscribe to a feed, summaries of and links to the available postings from that feed are automatically sent to your reader. Then, whenever a new forest news release, event announcement , or publication is published to the Web, you'll receive a posting of that document in your reader, along with a summary and access to a full-text version of the document.
