The Public Information Office reaches out to the media, general public, government agency peers, elected officials, the agriculture industry, and to MDA employees with the intent of strengthening the appreciation and understanding of the importance of agriculture and MDA activities to the everyday lives of Marylanders. News releases, events for the media and the public, awards programs, exhibits, newsletters, and the website are among the many tools this office uses to communicate with its audiences.
