Wildland Fire Status

  • The Incident Information System (InciWeb) displays any ongoing incidents on the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. This National Incident Information System allows you to view a specific incident, a list of incidents by state, or forest by clicking the corresponding name.

Fire Situation Report

  • The National Incident Information Center morning Situation Report is published daily during fire season and provides current information on the national wildland fire situation, burned area rehabilitation activities and more.

Prescribed Fire Notification

National Fire Plan/Healthy Forests and Rangelands

  • A National Fire Plan has been developed through cooperation of all federal agencies to hire and coordinate suppression forces, treat hazardous forest fuels, work with local communities and provide leadership into the 21st century to suppress wildland fires caused by 80 years of fire suppression. The plan provides the funding and guidance to hire, equip and train wildland fire fighters, and reduce hazardous fuels while emphasizing protection and safety of the public and fire fighters. National Wildfire Programs Database

  • The National Wildfire Programs Database serves as a clearinghouse of information on vegetation management programs specifically targeted to wildfire hazard mitigation on private lands.
