Volunteers: Our most important commodity is YOU.

We need Volunteers in every area….from on-site help with caretaking to maintenance, construction, electrical, welding or plumbing work. Off-site we can use office help (in Phoenix.)

Another electric Golf cart. We use these every day and we are wearing them out! They are essential for our daily feeding.

A riding lawn mower.

A couple of Tuff Shed type sheds. We will be receiving and setting up a complete X-ray setup for the birds. A Tuff Shed would be an ideal "dark room" and x-ray room. We need one for storing some of our equipment as well.

Another Walk-in cooler. The one we have is working fine, but not large enough to handle the weekly supply of produce for the 575 birds in residence!

Small backhoe for digging larger areas such as aviary foundations.

These are items used daily for the birds that we always can use:

Toys, particularly large toys for the big, more destructive birds.

Treats such as millet spray; roasted in-the-shell human grade unsalted peanuts or pistachios; other in-the-shell human grade nuts, in particular almonds and walnuts. Note: we are dealing with very large numbers of birds so a minimum 5 pound bag or larger is recommended for cost efficiency.

Newspapers for use in cage cleaning. If you are coming to visit and are driving, a collection of newspaper is always very much appreciated.

Construction trailer for use as another small bird building

Manufactured or mobile home – single or doublewide – for employee or guest housing

T-posts – 6-8 foot tall

Fencing materials, wood or wire

Cage building materials; weld wire, hardware cloth, roofing, iron

Metal buildings for additional bird buildings or storage
