Confidentiality:
The Office of Disability Services respects the privacy of individuals and strives to treat all personal information with confidentiality. Accommodation letters do not state the nature of a student’s disability, only that he or she is a qualified individual with a disability. ODS may release information to University faculty and staff when a “need to know’ is established by Disability Services. The need to know must be based on compelling and legitimate educational reasons for the information disclosure. Generally speaking, the faculty and staff do not need to know what the student’s disability is.
Location:
The Office of Disability Services is located in the Wintrode Student Success Center, room 125. Appointments may be scheduled anytime, M-W-F, 8:00a.m. -12:00a.m and 1:00p.m. - 5:00p.m. The main entrance is on the west side of the building
